 e offering their women’s retreats for the 11th year.\n\nJoining Ceci
  and Karen will be Lisa Hernandez who lives on Isla Mujeres. Lisa is a
  guide of sacred sites in Mexico and a teacher of the ancient Maya and
  their culture. As a Yoga teacher, her devotion is to help women inhab
 it their bodies with loving-attention and respect, inviting us to resp
 ond intuitively to our body’s wisdom.\n\nThe Laguna Bacalar, Mexico 
 retreat is on the “lake of seven colors,” a natural sanctuary chos
 en by the sages of ancient Mayan people as a place of purification, he
 aling and rebirth. Participants will stay at Akalki, a beautiful resor
 t that embraces the essence and purpose of this sacred land, with its 
 crystalline blue/green waters, harmony and balance.\nEverywhere you pu
 t your feet at Akal-ki, the energy is about creation…quiet, reverent
 , holy. We will journey one day to see the ancient Mayan city and temp
 le of Kohunlich, which is known for its enormous stucco masks carved i
 nto the pyramid of the sun.\n\nYoga, storytelling, journaling, guided 
 imagery, and more…. will serve as forms to access the myriad of bles
 sings and beauty that flow freely in each of us. We invite women to ga
 ther for a time of retreat and replenishment. Together, we will create
  a circle of abundance, compassion and support as we weave together ou
