Hosting Conversations about Questions that Matter
How to give a feel for TWC&others in a 15 minute lecture at a most traditional conference???
Hallo friends,
I was invited to two university conferences, one on Sustainability in Pécs,Hu, the other on Learning-Knowledges and Ecenomy in Győr,Hu. At both of this events I offered a talk on Social-Soul ( 'társas-lélek' an expression of Sandor Karacsony in the mid 20th century ) and developing CI: Theory and Practice, where I based my meaning on TWC and Dialogue principles... well received it was, yet a controversial situation to be in for me.To give a 15 minute TALK ON processes that unfold their depth and meaning by doing them together with others. This gap I experience at traditional conferences where they have the need for a talk like this but cannot make space for experiencing it, the only resolution I had was to use active imagination...strange though.Yet, I was surprised how frustrating it is just to be able to talk about it...
There is going to be an other event, at the Companies for a Sustainable World in May with Piac&Profit, that we have been doing in the past 5 years where there is some vain opportunity to raise awareness in this field as at least there is already some reflection inserted. Agota

Your talk may have already happened, but I have an idea. Perhaps a graphic recording of your talk?
You could reveal the content of your speech beforehand to an artist who could prepare agreed images and notes as illustrations. The artist would be prepared to rapidly graphic record in person if they were able to attend your talk in person.
Two advantages: the speed of illustrating could keep up with your talk as a performance art event AND copies could be prepared before hand this way, but distributed after your talk.
That way, the participants could get the graphic illustration as a reminder of the content of your talk to take with them and perhaps encourage their continuing interest.

Thanks for your thoughts and idea... at the moment there is noone in Hungary who could offer an artistic Graphic recording..I am organising a wp for that to be passed on to people interested in the autumn and then hopefully it would grow in that direction... What I have used though was www.prezi.com just to give a non linear feel to the event.
