Hosting Conversations about Questions that Matter
This monthly World Cafe began in March 2009 with a group of comrades in AIESEC, hosted originally by Brenda Schroeder and Andries De Vos, seeking to help prepare the group to move "From Ideas to Actions". Now the core group of hosts has expanded to include ovin Hurry, Natasha Dalmia, Iunia Pasca, Diana Jean Reyes, Boglarka Inkret, Kalaivani Karunanethi, Hui Min Toh, Meenakshi Sarup, Sabina Ahuja, and Roan Yong.
From the invitation to the event:
The Intention is to fulfill the need of a generative safe space to invite people living in Singapore to express themselves in a dialogue, freely ask questions burning in them and seek thoughts, ideas, resources from the people present.
The hope is that much like the Yin and the Yang, they would feel inspired and supported to take responsibility for their passions and to be passionate about their responsibilities amidst resonant relationships, slowing down from their machine-like, hectic lives.
The Invitation is to come with one’s authentic questions, ideas, resources, project dreams and the best yet to be mentioned, come as you are; a valued speaker, authentic listener, learner, eager student, teacher. It is much fun to see the community share seeds of ideas, cherish blossoms, building upon each other’s thoughts to harvest take-aways.

This is so exciting to hear about. And, do you know the larger community in Singapore who has been working with the World Cafe--hosting Knowledge Kopatiam's work there?
Fondest regards,
