February Online Community Cafe

I learned about the work of Nancy Kline today, whose work is focused around what she calls "Time to Think"; creating the environment that allows us the spaciousness to really think together about the things that concern us, individually and collectively. I like that idea very much, and personally feel there is a great affinity there with the World Cafe's principle of "creating hospitable space", which in my view is really about creating the conditions for deep conversation and collaborative thinking to emerge.
