- 1.) sustainable consumption (an oxymoron): serve as co-chair of Sierra Club Sustainable Consumption Activist Network and organizer of local food activists; also serve as business process improvement lead at Arlington County Government in Virginia -- a progressive community with a history and tradition of smart urban planning & green technology. 2.) access to national network of healthcare reform activists to include best practices for safe healthcare delivery - served 2 cycles as National Baldrige Award Examiner and 1 cycle as Senate Productivity and Quality Award Examiner evaluating hospital best practices. 3.) Some understanding of other cultures - worked 12 1/2 years overseas in Germany, Italy and Australia; still somewhat fluent in German.
