I'm New to the World Cafe
If you are new to the World Cafe, would you please share how you heard about this community?
I am postgrad student at the Uni of Manchester studying Organisational Change and Development. During my assignments I found the World Café book and now I am writing my dissertation about Dialogic OD, including the World Cafe.
What field is the primary focus of your World Café work (ONLY CHECK AREAS WHERE YOU ARE ALREADY ACTIVELY USING WORLD CAFE PLEASE)?
What knowledge, skills or resources would you like to contribute to the World Café community to help it grow and flourish?
As stated above, I am currently writing my dissertation where I investigate Dialogic OD methods. Once I have generated my findings I could share them with everyone.
What would you most like to receive from this community?
It would be great to receive ideas for my dissertation and perhaps send some questionnaires, or even interview some members of this community regarding my dissertation.

Welcome to the World Cafe. I wrote my own doctoral dissertation about the World Cafe and if it can be helpful for you to have a copy (which includes much more conceptual/theoretical underpinnings than the book) let me know to my email at firstname.lastname@example.org and I'll send you the link.
Welcome, Lenz, to this global community! Your dissertation topic sounds very interesting. As you are asking for ideas and for sending out questionnaires and conducting interviews - I think it would be very helpful to know a little more about your dissertation, your purpose and the framework. There is a very active group of World Cafe practitioners working around research: you can find more details on the World Cafe website http://www.theworldcafe.com/key-concepts-resources/research/
Please let us know how we can support your work and learn with and from you.
