I run my own business as a management consultant in Switzerland and in Germany and I am especially interested to work in a business context: to facilitating transformational processes with leaders and their companies.
I have worked as a manager myself (at the end I was member of the executive board of a media-company) and I know a lot about the fears and problems one can have in a leading position, but I also see a lot of opportunities, where one can find easily a better way of doing business, based on an other attitude and supported with new forms of communication (as World Café is).
I like to host World Cafés very much, as it is a wonderful way to initiate a high quality of dialogue and to find a common ground in a diverse group of individuals. - And I also like the attitude and the spirit behind this "method" and in the community which is spreading it out to the world.
In addition of that I am a co-owner of the Genuine Contact(TM)-Program, which has the same kind of attitude behind: www.genuinecontact.net and (in German) www.genuinecontact.de.
Together with two friends (Dr. Matthias zur Bonsen and Jutta I. Herzog) I have worked on the book "Leading with Life. Lebendigkeit in Unternehmen freisetzen und nutzen", which cames out in spring 2009 in German (and should be translated and published next year in English too) and - in aligment with that - we have developped (beside offering other seminars) a seminar-week for Top Executives, where they also will experience the magic of World Café (in German): www.leadingwithlife.com.
And - last but not least - I also like to work (mostly as a volunteer) in other fields (as a mentor for young women for exemple or as a co-facilitator at the First World Café Gathering in Dresden, Germany).
