Embodied Presence: Cultivating Awareness of the Field with Arawana hayashi at Sky Lake Lodge

This 3-day intensive with Arawana Hayashi explores Embodied Presence through exercises that turn our attention to our bodies. Social Presencing Theater is a new arts-based social technology for sensing the context or social field and for making visible what often goes unnoticed. Participants learn how to bring this practice into their work and projects.

Thanks for connecting with me - actually our new initiative will include visual artists as well as perfomring, literary, media and spoken word artists working with a broad mission of postive change. I'll check-out your website and hopefully we can keep in touch. Our website is being updated and does not have the Catalyst Arts program on it but you will get a sense of who we are and the kind of work we do -www.ccr-arts.org. All the best for 2010!

I am a visual artist who has worked on many public art projects in Taiwan, China and most recently NC.....Amy suggested we connect as we are both in the arts. It seems your expression is more in the performing arts and I must say I have envisioned my "spheres" being part of a performance much like Martha Graham and Isamu Naguchi....my web site is virginiascotchie.com let me know what you think.
