- Host, I'm New to the World Cafe
- If you are new to the World Cafe, would you please share how you heard about this community?
- I have been a part of and hosted World Cafe events in Europe and the United States. I now visit Anne Dosher as a valued and loved Elder here in San Diego. She shares with me the stories about the origins of this important work and helps me deepen my own practice.
- In what field is the primary focus of your World Café work?
- Education
- What knowledge, skills or resources would you like to contribute to the World Café community to help it grow and flourish?
- I have learned "deep process" from years working in the group relations field. I am also a professor in leadership studies where we are often adapting World Cafe principles in how experiential learning.
- What would you most like to receive from this community?
- I am looking to be a part of communities that are open to innovative models that have social impact on what is most needed right now on the planet.
- What haven't we asked that you'd like to share?
- How will you make use of your involvement in this community? I see my involvement with World Cafe as part of a network of similar connections. Though I am not quite sure how it works, I sense there is some implicate order to it all that will emerge.
