New Review from a Happy Customer:

"I came to Dr. Picucci broken, very sick, and traumatized from childhood incidences as well as adult ones. I had cried for many months. I was assured by Michael that I would come out the other side and my life would change. I had several focalizing sessions. I became aware of my body as a whole during these sessions. I moved through some very challenging parts of my history with him in a safe, calm and loving environment. I became more and more fearless as I became unstuck and faced what…

How can young people concretely develop commitment to change the future?

A chicken and a pig used to live in a farm led by a really nice man. They wanted to organize for him a surprise cooking a special breakfast. The chicken suggested to provide eggs, while the pig would have provided ham. The pig knew what this implied and said to the chicken: You are making contribution, you are involved; but I am committed”.

I chose to tell this short anecdote as it clarifies what the experience of Model United Nations meant to me: it was the little push that turned my…

Do we need Money? & What are the Alternatives?

Our upcoming World Cafe conversation "Do we need Money? & What are the Alternatives?" takes place against the background of a financial system that remains toxic and unreformed, serving increasing inequality and social injustice.

At the same time, some initiatives touted as alternatives remain dubious in their impact and benefit. Following is an extract from an article on the so-called Sharing Economy in Forbes magazine:

“I don’t even know why they call it ‘sharing…

Self Harm Awarenss for Adolescents

Hello ! I became a member of the World Café as part of my MA in Critical and Creative Thinking and a project that I had to create for my Dialogue Processes course. This course led me to the Circle of Seven, in which Anne Dosher is a prominent figure. Searching Anne led me here.

I am now in the dire need of creating awareness about self-harm among adolescents. This is my Synthesis project for my MA in Critical and Creative Thinking at UMass Boston. My presentation is to be in May…

Conversations That Connect

Early in my business career I was fortunate to work for a wise, experienced senior executive who was masterful at leading conversations that mattered. As a newly-minted MBA graduate I was at the bottom of the totem pole in a family-managed business.

My boss had been hired to upgrade the company’s management practices, employee benefit programs, and overall productivity. He tasked me with building ties to the leaders of several business units and engaging with them in conversations…

Does the Future of Work lie in the workplace communities?

Ian Gee, former Global OD Director at Nokia Corporation along with his talented colleague Matthew Hanwell have seriously explore the topic in his recently released book "The WorkPlace Community: A Guide to Releasing Human Potential and Engaging Employees."  They cite that, "we continue to use the same structures and organize work in the same way as we have for decades, but is there is a more effective way to benefit from our collective intelligence."

I am thrilled to see the work of…

What Makes an Effective Business Leader?

For him to continue thriving in such an unpredictable domain, he should be aware of the factors that make one a reputable…

Listen for Meaning

Try this exercise sometime: When you are with a friend, stare into his or her eyes for a full minute (while he/she is staring back at you). This isn’t about flirting, or hypnosis.

No, it’s just about appreciating that you are looking at something completely unique (and so is your partner).

No one else in the world has the eyes you have just been looking at; in…
