Kia Ora Janine,
Sorry for the delay. I am based in Wellington and have just returned from a fantastic holiday in OZ. I would love to join the Cafe Australasia. How do I go about doing this?

Hi Janine,
This messaging is just becoming too regular an occurrence! Haha!
There is a 2 day pre-Conference workshop happening in February at http://www.csbec.org.nz/index.cfm/Community_Economic_Development_Conf/
or you can contact Ted Smeaton at ted.smeaton@inspiringcommunities.com or David Wilson at heritage.futures@xtra.co.nz
Tell them I passed their details along and I'm sure that they will be loads of help to you!

Hi Janine,
Sorry it's taken me so long to write back - we've just finished up an Indigenous and Torres Strait Islander Conference here at the uni - see www.newcastle.edu.au/centre/fac
David Wilson is in NZ and he's a fantastic ABCD-er - you can find his contact details on either the Ning or the uni website and there are a couple of ABCD workshops being held in NZ early next year!
The training that I do encompasses both the Art of Hosting and ABCD techniques and I also work for the Caravan Project here at the Family Action Centre - we are a team of Community Development Workers who support permanent residents (and Owners) who live on Caravan Parks in the Hunter Region!
I look forward to connecting more!
Regards,
Dee...

Thanks for connecting Janine. I will join the Australasia group and let's catch up some time. Are you in the Wairarapa or London at the moment? Although either way, we can connect - my skype name is terryneal60 so try me on that. Where you are will affect when makes sense to connect tho :-)

Dear Janine, Thank you for getting in touch and for looking us up on the website. 2020Vision was indeed a fabulous event and the AI network in UK responded very openly to my request and Roger Wythe came to the day and was great. Since then synchronicity has beeen flowing and he has VR at another Cafe. It would be great to meet up with you to explore synergies.....let me know on alexandra@swanconsulting.co.uk. I look forward Alexandra

Hi Janine,
someone you might want to contact in England is Martin Fischer Martin Fischer . He has done a LOT of Cafe work in England, particularly in the health care sector, and might be a great resource for you.
Good luck in your efforts there,

Welcome, Janine! How exciting to have you just jump right in here. I look forward to getting to know you, and hopefully being of help.
