A Café conversation on the arts in our schools, organizations, and communities will be held on March 3, 2011 from 4:00 - 7:00 pm, on the ways The College of New Jersey, Young Audiences NJ, local school districts and our communities might collaborate to offer more possibilities in the arts for the students and teachers we serve. The event will begin with a reception and tour of the new interactive multimedia building and then enter into a World Café conversation to help us understand our needs and share our dreams.The Café is organized by John C. Here is a set of Café Cards in a 4X6" format that I often use prior to beginning a Café conversation. Sets of these quote cards are placed on each table. Participants are invited to pick out a card that they have an affinity with or that speaks to them in a special way. Each participant reads his/her selected quote card to each other and also shares why they chose this particular card. This is a great way to get folks thinking about the power of coversation and sets the tone for an engaging Café experience.Let me know what you think.DonSee More
