Hello Everyone! Just wanted to stop by and say I enjoyed reading the posts. If you like the World Cafe, you may be interested in enjoying an 'in person' salon that I created called the Saturday Salon. I hosted them monthly for about ten years and finally wrote a book about it, including a history of conversation salons from France to New York, pot luck recipes, talking sticks and hosting tips and tricks. A Saturday Salon is a way to bring people together from all different backgrounds for a warm, engaging evening of great food, wine and conversation. You and your guests select the topics and use a talking stick to keep the talk on track. My site is always changing, so stop by anytime for new topics, recipes and pictures- and feel free to participate in our online salon, too. If you'd like a copy of the book, it's available in all formats on the site, or you can find us at the iBookstore, Amazon and for the nook if you prefer ebooks.
