Hosting Conversations about Questions that Matter

I am looking for a Visual Practitioner/Graphic Recorder for a World Cafe in Qatar on 14th April. Can anyone help me with contacts to pursue?

Hi Carol -

I bet Nancy White in Seattle would be up for this. Or Steven Wright, also of Seattle.

I would love to be part of something like this, but my skills are around convening the conversation and hosting.

Warmly,

Steve Byers

Olympia, WA

Thanks Steve. Unfortunately flying someone over from the USA for the session isn't within my client's budget. I was hoping there might be someone who was either residing in the Middle East or could combine it with some other work.

Cheers,

Carol

There are lots and lots more of course. One from Belgium: http://www.visualharvesting.com/ - and good ones in Denmark: http://biggerpicture.dk/ - I know they all work around the globe. There is also, somewhere, a website where you can search for these kind of people, somewhere in your neighborhood; but I don't remember the right name... (the other ones probably do know)

Thank you for your reply Ria. I have searched the International Forum of Visual Practitioners' website. Is that the one you were meaning? Unfortunately there are none listed residing in the Middle East.

Regards,

Carol

Hi Carol,

I am seeing this much too late (I have just joined this forum this week), however, I worked with a graphic recorder in Doha. In fact, she recorded my World Cafe for my graduate research. If you find yourself in search of a recorder again, let me know and I will connect the two of you. She does excellent work!

I was in Qatar from 2009- 2014. Are you still there?

Kind Regards,

Joleyne
