Hosting Conversations about Questions that Matter
Amy Lenzo said… Welcome, Larry!
Thank you for your thoughtful responses to the profile questions... you speak for many in the US right now, and there is a real need for people reaching out to each other and exchanging perspectives and learning from each other. We're glad you're here. You are welcome to start a thread here - it's not always clear what gets responses and what doesn't, but it's always worth reaching out.
Even more importantly, you may want to explore hosting some World Cafe conversations within your community or whatever groups you feel would be receptive to and benefit from some of the kinds of conversations you are talking about. If you have not already found it, the World Cafe website has a wealth of information about what World Cafe is and how to host them.
We have just opened registration for our Signature Learning Program - World Cafe Hosting Fundamentals, but haven't yet got it on our calendar or started to let people know about it except informally like this. It's an 8 week program offered online in partnership with Fielding Graduate University, starting September 16th. You would be very welcome to join us - here's a link for more information and registration: http://bit.ly/2rRgVbE
In the meantime, I hope that you will join us for one of the monthly online Community Cafes we host, where you can explore some of these topics (the next one is August 8th - the link to register and for more information is in the Calendar).
Let me know if you have any questions, or if I can be of support to you.
Warmly,
Amy
