If you are new to the World Cafe, would you please share how you heard about this community?: A colleague from the Panasonic Foundation, Tony Rollins, has talked about the World Cafe when I worked with him years ago. I did not realize it was an on-line community, just thought it was a dialogue process. Now, I have been living as an American expatriate in Western and Central Europe. I will love talking, in English, to others!

What field is the primary focus of your World Café work (ONLY CHECK AREAS WHERE YOU ARE ALREADY ACTIVELY USING WORLD CAFE PLEASE)?: n/a

What knowledge, skills or resources would you like to contribute to the World Café community to help it grow and flourish?: #1 Facilitation skills, including experience in facilitating Virtual Cafe/Forum discussions on-line among different nationalities. #2 Experience living as an expatriate in two foreign countries where English is not commonly spoken. #3 Work as a global facilitator for an international corporation facilitating learning and leadership development for people from dozens of different countries scattered across all continent except Antartica --of course!

What would you most like to receive from this community?: Deeper understanding of other nationalities, their perspectives on their own country in relation to other countries; their views of history and its impact on current culture -- pluses and minuses. I am especially interested in managerial/leadership development among young women, particularly in countries where traditional gender roles create special challenges for emerging female leaders.
