Ashley, thank you for connecting. I would love to hear more about your insights into online vs. face to face connection. Would I be correct assuming you are a millennial (18-29 or so)? If so, having you engaged in this conversation is wonderful as Amy, Juanita, and I are all very interested in how to engage younger people in conversation both online and in face to face cafes. If you have a chance, would you share some of your thoughts and insights? Thank you so much. I have been anxious to have you rejoin our conversation so that I could ask you this question.
I'm fairly new to hosting (see my event on the calendar, Aug 12th), and thought I'd make contact - I'm delighted to see so many people from Seattle in the community!
Ashley, my main home base is Seattle, BellTown, in fact. (My other one these days is Krakow, Poland). Maybe we will bump into each other somewhere down the line. If you are around Monday, August 3, the East West Bookstore on Roosevelt in the U District is hosting an evening to introduce my new book, Five Questions that Change Everything. Perhaps I will see you there. If you come, bring a friend!
