In 2011, I introduced The World Café into ITU, the UN ICT agency, where I was then employed. The World Café was developed by Juanita Brown and David Isaacs and now comprises a global community of practitioners. It is a wonderful collaborative meeting methodology, and this highly participative tool became immediately very popular in ITU, an organization that supports dialogue and consensus.

I see from David's comment that you held a Peace Café. I would love to hear more about it. Designing World Cafés which touch the heart is a real challenge; we can all learn a lot from each other when we reflect upon designs which really DO touch the heart. You might be interested in a World Café which was done on the topic of "Reconciliation". Here's the link:
