Hosting Conversations about Questions that Matter
Hello World Cafe`Community,
Recently the Bay of Fundy has been entered into a contest for the seven wonders of the world.Im thrilled about the awareness this brings to the local community and the global communities!The Bay of Fundy has been in the eye of Electrical Power Processors for years.This eco-system is fragile and at high risk for development.
I grew up on the Bay of Fundy and over the years have developed a strong connection to her roots.We would pick Goose Toung Greens and Sandfire Greens as children laughing along with the quick tide rush to the shore,covered in mud from head to foot.
For the past four years ive been writting and photographing the pristene shores and cultural symbols of the Bay.Ive travelled in my 1977 VW Westfailia (popup) for eight months learning about the rich nutrients of community from Alma,New Brunswick to Truro around the Minus Basin in Debert and on up to the tip of Nova Scotia at Brier Island.

When I was in high school, my parents took us to the Bay of Fundy. My mom is a history/geography person who'd been talking about the tides ever since I was a little girl. I still have some stones I picked up on the shore. It was an amazing place.
