Please indicate your World Café experience (ONLY IF YOU HAVE ACTUAL WORLD CAFE EXPERIENCE) in one or more of the following roles:

If you are new to the World Cafe, would you please share how you heard about this community?
I'm not new to the World Cafe!
What field is the primary focus of your World Café work (ONLY CHECK AREAS WHERE YOU ARE ALREADY ACTIVELY USING WORLD CAFE PLEASE)?
Corporate, Government, Community
What knowledge, skills or resources would you like to contribute to the World Café community to help it grow and flourish?
Here are some of my areas of expertise.
I'm a consultant in Organization Development (OD) and most of my clients are in the energy, dairy, public and animal feed sector. My assignments are of the following type: change facilitation during system implementations, leading outsourcing negotiations with IT-vendors, awareness building and implementation of risk management frameworks, project audits, (risk) management in large projects (finance, IT, organization, personnel, facilities, security), facilitation of team building, strategy development/re-alignment. Interim manager risk, and management control.
Being a passionate dialogue practitioner I use many dialogue methods in my assignments.

In the social realm, I run Dialogue Cafe Utrecht, a monthly dialogue meeting in cafe style (World Cafe and Conversation Cafe formats) with an attendance between 20 to 32 persons.
I have also trained volunteers in my neighbourhood in dialogue hosting so they can host meetings with neighbours. We are having 4 of these neighbourhood meetings in October & November.

In November I will convene a WC in a bar-restaurant in Utrecht (10 tables of 4-5 persons) during Dialogue Day.
What would you most like to receive from this community?
Exchange experiences with World Cafe in different settings.
Getting to know other practitioners and if possible collaborate in projects.

Dear Eugene,

We are happy to see you’ve joined our growing online community.

If you’d like to join our European Salon to explore the topic: “Dialogue & Leadership: The New Face of Community?” we’d certainly be pleased to have you.

We’ll be meeting from Oct. 16 to 19 at Hotel Marienhof, Reichenau an der Rax, about an hour south west of Vienna. See:

We’ve succeeded in holding the costs lower for those who sign up by the 25th of August (which is today!). To see more, please visit the calendar.

You can participate in the conversation as well online by joining the group European Salon Online.

If you have any questions, please get back to me.

Best wishes,

Welcome, Eugene! I'm excited about what kinds of collaboration might be possible - what we as a community might catalyze here together that would have a positive impact in the world. Say more about what kind of projects you would be most interested in...
