Here in Los Angeles we have been establishing cafes for parents to come together to address issues within their communitities and their families. We have been presenting questions around building and incorporating the protective factors into their lives to reduce isolation and to build developmental assets for children. Funded by First 5 LA the project is part of a child abuse and neglect initiative.
