If you are new to the World Cafe, would you please share how you heard about this community?
During the summer, I was given a handout by a guy in the street which I kept and then followed up on seeking more info.
What field is the primary focus of your World Café work (ONLY CHECK AREAS WHERE YOU ARE ALREADY ACTIVELY USING WORLD CAFE PLEASE)?
n/a
What knowledge, skills or resources would you like to contribute to the World Café community to help it grow and flourish?
It would be necessary for me to understand more about the direct involvement that is available. I can mention some of my abilities that might be of interest: former exchange student to mexico, world traveler, undergrad degree in Spanish (proficient in speaking and writing), graduate degree in Elementary Education, fiber artist, own home in Rocky Point (visit once a month), hosted radio show in spanish in past, studied international communication and I am retired.
I spend time usually every month in Puerto Penasco, Sonora Mexico
What would you most like to receive from this community?
I like the idea of sharing internationally in a variety of venues.
Thanks for getting in touch. We live close to one another in AZ (I am in Tempe, and teach here as well).
I haven't had a chance to spend much time on the site. I am in the middle of writing my Masters thesis, so I am looking forward to exploring World Cafe more come July.
It sounds like there are many points of connection for you with this community - you may be interested in exploring the Spanish-speaking group, Cafe Latino. And I certainly encourage you to add something about yourself in the community Introductions.
