Event Description
The 2014 International Short Break Conference will be held in Wolfenbüttel, Germany, Sept 9th-11th. This conference will be a wonderful think tank for about 300 delegates from more than 15 countries working in the field of disability and inclusion to support people in having meaningful lives. It is our opportunity to learn from each other to re-envision Short Breaks or Respite as it is known in some countries. There will be a World Café so people can experience the model in action and learn how it could be used in their community to create meaningful dialogue to engage families, service providers and stakeholders to develop innovative ways to support full inclusion and maximize social capital.
