Hi Amy and group members! Wish you all "merry christmas" and a very happy new year 2010! I have been benefited from this "world cafe online community" and would like to extend my thanks to you and group members. I had an opportunity to participate the training course on "large group moderation" in Kathmandu last year. World cafe, and open space were some of the tools I learned during the training. Recently, I used this world cafe tool to facilitate the workshop on "envisioning of municipal association of Nepal (MuAN)" which was very much successful and highly appreciated by the participants. Here, I am looking forward to learn more on the tool from the group members in coming days too.
With warm regards
Maniram Singh Mahat, Kathmandu, Nepal
Please share more details of the event you hosted in Nepal! I'm curious about things like -what was the context? how many people were there? where was it held? were there photographs? what kinds of questions were posed? what were the objectives of the Cafe and were they met? was there a graphic recorder? what did you learn? what were your challenges? how did people respond? etc.
I would be very interested to hear more about what happened and I know others would too!!
Dear Amy,
Certainly, I will share the highlights of world cafe event on "envisioning of municipal association of Nepal (MuAN)" ASAP. At the present, I am busy with the project evaluation mission of my organization. May be, within a week, I will share about the world cafe event.
