A Strategic Collaboration between Both Demand and Supply in the Changing World Political-Economy
The changes in world political-economy are very fast growing in space and dimension making both traditionally considered demand (developing countries that also include least developed countries) and supply side (developed countries) dependent on each other. This has become a great concern for both developing and developed countries because the cause of dependence on each other is the continuously widened gap in world political-economy between demand and supply. This widened gap is further the effect of inefficient allocation of resources those exist both within the respective boundary of demand and supply side. The most recent glaring example of this concern to continuously widening gap between the demand and supply side causing political and economical tension between and among them is the challenge thrown before the developing and developed countries during the 65th session of the General Assembly of the United Nations. Not only, but also the inefficient allocation of resources also exist between and among the developed countries even though functional regional association like European Union nourishes the freedom for the free movement of labor across the boundaries but within the boundaries of regional association is the only example, so far we can see.
It is my understanding given from the long and long standing experiences of resources allocation spread over different regions as a part of natural science and beyond the control of any State to bring within one’s control remains unexplored even among the neighboring countries which demonstrates
similar behavior in food, culture, housing, education and more or less in language also. Unfortunately, the exploration of resources remains even in dormant condition which has also resulted into very feeble achievement of Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) of United Nations during the stipulated
period (2015). As such, has also become of supreme concern among demand and supply side- the participating states in the session of UN General Assembly instead of remaining limited to United Nations as its concern only. The realization among the supply side is a very highly positive but the synergistic relation to develop between the demand and supply is yet to succeed long head-way which cannot be evolved overnight nor an easy task to solve.
The inefficient allocation of resources among the demand and supply creates political and economical tensions and within the respective boundary of the demand side political and economical tensions takes diversified forms. The diversification of political and economical tensions while reach its chronic form because of increased diminishing marginal utility to experience by the people composing of both consumers and producers of goods and/or services results into volcanic eruption in different forms that causes devastating effect in the polity-economy of both the demand (developing countries) and supply side (developed countries). Remaining in the process of crystallizing unending discontent among the consumers and producers the vested interests find its way through the process easier and smoother to capitalize the discontent camouflaging their intention with such taste and flavor that are acceptable to both the consumers and producers of goods and services (developing and developed countries). This further deepens political and economical tensions between demand and supply, that is, between developed and developing countries.
what we see the sweeping changes in the Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union. The lessons from the collapse of the command economy are manifold: (1) the rest of the command economy following countries choosing the market economy (recent declaration of Cuban Government to enter into private market after one year), (2) surfacing the realization by many of the political leaders about the necessity of feeling shared sense of ownership in each other resources, and (3) increasing the political and economical burden on the developed countries who profess and are the pioneers of free market economy.
Community popularly known as European Union, as far as I understand from the external environment. That the formation of the European Union is also the demand of the people has been reflected in the evolution of European Union at its post formation stage while, as I understand, the most significant step given by European Union is the freedom for the free movement of the people
across the national boundaries but within the boundaries of European Union.
This step taken by the States gathered within the association of European Union further signifies that the participating States realize that simply forming coalition among the States will not be enough in
the free market rather people to people connection for their benefits are an absolute essential element in the political and economical development of the participating states. Thus, providing legal status to the people of the European Community belonging to the boundaries of European Union with freedom for free movement across their national boundaries within the boundaries of European Union has widened unending world of people to people connection. In the free market, market is highly competitive any one can enter the market and any one can also exit the market, as such it requires in the supply chain of goods and/or services to develop comparative advantage or specialization. One
such area in the development of comparative advantage is human resources development. The free movement of the European Community within the boundaries of European Union exploring better educational vis-à-vis employment opportunities will immensely contribute to the development of comparative advantages in human resources development. Not only, but also due to market to
market competition the free movement of the people will have push effect on the States to open employment opportunities at the same time opening avenues for producing quality human resources which constitutes a part of macroeconomic stability.
Within the larger boundaries of European Union there is both demand and supply side, as such, this phenomena of developing macroeconomic stability through creating human resources development, opening employment opportunities and developing infrastructures shall be extended within the
boundaries of the association to develop synergistic relations between and among the states. To develop equilibrium between demand and supply in respect of goods and/or services to produce by the suppliers at an agreed quality and price demanded by the demand side new dimensional strategic coalition among the States participating in European Union shall be thought of remaining within and retaining the principles to the cause of forming the network European Union. Bearing in mind that the demand side of European Union also goes beyond its own boundaries, as such to promote its supply chain producing goods and/or services at a competitive price in the free market and at the same time developing productive synergistic relations with the demand side outside of its own boundaries the stated strategic coalition shall also be thought of with changes in modus operandi that benefit both the demand and supply side.
The early realization was to connect the States at a single platform European Union, as I understand, but in the process of evolution of European Union the outstanding changes in development conditions (outcome) is the people to people connection so far generated and at the same time among a number of outputs (products) generated the fantastically significant output is
the emergence of The World Café Community. While the European Union of the participating States will function at macro level, at the same time The World Café Community has two very pertinent functions to accomplish: developing a matured people to people connection and sensitizing the issue through people to people connection and creating or crystallizing a process creating new generation of leadership as backward linkage to the initiatives to adopt by EU where The World Café Community is accomplishing the two stated functions though long way will have to travel. However, the strategic coalition between the demand and supply side within and outside the boundary of European Union is
imbibed in the integrated approach to adopt and implement simultaneously by the participating states in the strategic coalition which I have been emphasizing on at different online discussions since the beginning of this year.
Today I would like to end here, and if the opportunity comes in future then I would like to contribute further.
Thanking you all and with very best of regards
Sincerely and honestly yours
tarit
