If you are new to the World Cafe, would you please share how you heard about this community?

In 2007-8, as a presenter for The Climate Project, I had the -privilege, really- of hosting a World Cafe on 'global warming' in Sheridan, Wyoming not long after Al Gore's film An Inconvenient Truth was released. We received support from David Gershon at The Empowerment Institute who tailored the questions to our topic. In short, the evening moved 65-70 people out of hopelessness and despair, and into hopefulness, inspiration and action.

What knowledge, skills or resources would you like to contribute to the World Café community to help it grow and flourish?

Listening. Sharing experiences, reflections. I look forward to learning more and using the World Cafe model again as part of a class called "Citizenship in an Age of Corporate Power" here in Mendocino County.
