- I am a world-wide speaker; my work is called TheAttentionFactor(R). I write and do research on what I am convinced is a MEGA Attention Deficit in our society which is observable all over the world. I have been doing this work for over 30 years.
I am also a walking resource/expert about the impact of TV viewing on children and families. As Executive Director of the nonprofit organization FACT (Focusing Awareness on Children and TV) in Los Angeles, I helped keep "Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood" on air and sat on the White House Conference on the Family in the late 1970's.

- A life-changing memory: I have been called "an elder" by a shaman from Zimbabwe whom I met at a workshop in Los Angeles: he told the group it's "best we listen to her." What an inspiring moment!
