These people mainly leave in the Great Rift Valley and eviction is taking place in faces.Phase one that reclaimed over 23,000 acres of land was completed in January.Phase two and three are yet to begin at the end of this month.This is the phase that includes some of our moneyed and politically correct figures who grabbed land illegally or thorugh dubious means during the regime of President Daniel Moi.A team of legal experts including officials from the lands department have done demacartion and are studying the deeds to verify their authenticity for purposes of compensation.But the population is against any compensation.

It is good to be friends with you.I do not know how exactly you want me to help you.However, we as a country are currently engaged in serious environmental issues notably to do with conservation of our vast forest resources that are greatly depleted of late. Presently the issues are highly political/controversial with large masses of people being moved albeit reluctantly. The big debate now is formulation of a government policy to enable every household of our 40 million people with land to plant 10 tree seedling per year! Wwelcome.
