"Hi Grace, If you need help locating a graphic recorder in the DC area, I would recommend visiting www.ifvp.org.  Review the member directory (by geographic region) and you will see folks who are based in the D.C. area. If you need further…"

graphic recorder needed for climate change world cafe on Oct 11 in DC

Hi, all. I am helping the American Meteorologist Society to organize a World Cafe for them to promote better communications among their members on the issue of Climate Change. Ideally, the event would be better to have a graphic recorder, but the project doesn't have much funding for that. If anyone is interested to help out, please email me.The event will be held from 6-9pm at the AAAS Headquarters, 1200 New York Ave NW, Washington, DC 20005Thanks for reading the post!GraceSee More

Welcome Grace!

How wonderful that you speak both Mandarin and Cantonese...

The Chinese community using the World Cafe is beginning to really grow and flourish, and it's exciting to see more people coming here from China (of course I know you are not living in China :-) but since you mentioned your language skills I thought you might be interested to connect with others who are - here's a quick advanced search for people living in mainland China) and there are several other ways to look for people in the "Find Things" section).

I don't know if you are aware that we have two Chinese translations of the World Cafe book currently in print?

If you are interested in learning opportunities and working towards career development opportunities you may be interested in the Hosting World Cafe: The Fundamentals course we are offering online with Fielding Graduate University starting September 30th. It offers significant course credits and will be a great way to deepen your experience of World Cafe.

In any case, I hope you will explore this space and find (or start!) conversations and friendships here in the World Cafe community - it's wonderful to have you here and I look forward to more engagement!

Warmly,

Amy
