I'm New to the World Cafe
If you are new to the World Cafe, would you please share how you heard about this community?
I discovered World Cafe on a links page of one of the futurist organizations I have been recently researching.
In what field is the primary focus of your World Café work?
Health, Education, Online, Community
What knowledge, skills or resources would you like to contribute to the World Café community to help it grow and flourish?
I have been actively involved in community cultural development for 20 years, both live and virtual. I have an extensive background in multimedia communications and event production. My overall talents include the roles of futurist, artist, journalist, interviewer, researcher, producer, publisher, activist, community organizer, event designer, group facilitator, consultant, and speaker.

I have been an active supporter of a wide range of progressive and socially responsible initiatives. Working with internationally recognized authors such as flow psychology pioneer Mihaly Csikszentmihayli, cultural scholar D. Paul Schafer and integral theorist Ken Wilber, I designed and executed cutting-edge projects and programs such as Flow Network, Project Culturescape, Integral Arts Salons, and the Art Café Symposium.

As the start of the new decade begins, I am excited to be launching The Future Lounge, a new online destination dedicated to the exploration of intelligent ideas and issues for open-minded people whose values and lifestyles are playing a critical role in shaping the present and future world. Catering to Cultural Creatives, innovators, trend setters, influencers and thought leaders of all kinds, we offer a friendly environment where new thinking is supported and the spiritual quest is valued; a relaxed meeting place from which to step back from the busy pace of our daily lives and take time to reflect on the perils and possibilities on the horizon and to address concerns and questions that will make or break the future of humanity.
What would you most like to receive from this community?
Through The Future Lounge I hope to inspire great conversations around questions that matter and I see the World Cafe method as a very powerful and enriching approach for doing this. By joining The World Cafe Community, I look forward to the chance to learn from others like myself, share experiences, grow in awareness and effectiveness and benefit from the inspiration, support, camaraderie, and networking opportunities.
Would you like to share a Web or Blog address?

What haven't we asked that you'd like to share?
I will better be able to answer this as I get more familiar with the community.
