Profile Information

Please indicate your World Café experience (ONLY IF YOU HAVE ACTUAL WORLD CAFE EXPERIENCE) in one or more of the following roles:
I'm New to the World Cafe
If you are new to the World Cafe, would you please share how you heard about this community?
I learned about World Cafe in the book Community: the Structure of Belonging by Peter Block. I am part of a group planning a conference in Tanzania in October, and this seemed like a perfect way to open the conference. I'm walking up the learning curve now, having a great time!
What field is the primary focus of your World Café work (ONLY CHECK AREAS WHERE YOU ARE ALREADY ACTIVELY USING WORLD CAFE PLEASE)?
Community
What knowledge, skills or resources would you like to contribute to the World Café community to help it grow and flourish?
I have done a lot of work with large groups, and can imagine being a good facilitator of World Cafes, but that's after I learn a lot. I am part of a loose community bringing new opportunities to people in Africa, Asia and Latin America through supporting and encouraging their ability to save regularly. Quite amazing stuff!
What would you most like to receive from this community?
I want to tap into the collective experience and intelligence to be able to share this approach to working with large groups, and working with community, with my professional associates.
Would you like to share a Web or Blog address?
http://Savings-Revolution.org
What haven't we asked that you'd like to share?
I'm so looking forward to being on the Conversations for the 21st Century call on May 20!

It was delightful to meet you this morning, Paul!

I hope you will enjoy being part of this community, and want to extend a warm welcome to you. You may want to post an Introduction about yourself so that the largest number of people have the opportunity to see your request to participate in a World Cafe.

I know the World Cafe will be a wonderful contribution to your work in Tanzania and beyond.
