Visual capturing and sharing of themes for training purposes

Hello everyone, I’m just starting to contribute here, so here goes… I’d love to hear from you — ideas, reactions, similar experiences — on the visual capturing and sharing of themes for training purposes. A bit of context. In addition to facilitation and consulting work, I give two-day training workshops for scientists (mostly doctoral students) on how to write a scientific research paper for publication in an international journal. For years, I’ve been doing this with a mix of PowerPoint…See More

Hello Amy and thanks for your welcome! Great to meet you online! And yes, mountain climbing is a great metaphor for what many of us do in our lives --- I use it a lot in my work. My dream is to combine my consulting/facilitating/training work (which includes using World Café) with inspiring mountain venues... I am off to the mountains early tomorrow morning for the holidays, but will look forward to contributing to the community once I am back online in the New Year. Bonnes Fêtes! Sarah

Welcome Sarah! I love this photo of you joyously climbing a mountain. What an evocative image... so meaningful in this time when we are all trying to climb mountains of various sorts. :-)

So glad you're here! Did you see there's a Cafe Geneva for people in your region who are using the World Cafe - perhaps you'd like to join it?

Warm Wishes,

Amy
