- What knowledge, skills or resources would you like to contribute to the World Café community to help it grow and flourish?
- Being new to The World Cafe, I'm not yet sure what skills are needed to help the community grow and flourish. I am a full time personal and professional coach and coach trainer with previous 25+ years of corporate experience. I love to write and at this point I'd love to contribute to the conversation about community building.
- What would you most like to receive from this community?
- Since I have a passion for using my coaching skills to contribute to community change and growth in urban communities, I welcome the exchange of ideas with others interested in this area and with people interested in community in general. I am also interested in indigenous wisdom, particularly West African traditions, and hope to integrate that into my coaching and community work. I most welcome ideas, resources, the sharing of experiences by others, and collaborative thought.
- What haven't we asked that you'd like to share?
- My heart is centered on children and the adults who shape their lives as our hope for a brighter future. I am brainstorming age appropriate experiential group activities for children to help them become their most creative, caring and resourceful selves. Also developing workshops for the adults in their lives that I hope will contribute to their personal development and further engagement in community. Another aspect of my work is teaching coaching skills to aspiring coaches, non-profit leaders and organizational teams (non-profit and corporate) to foster awareness, transformation, communication and growth (personal, organizational and community).
