Cafe method is catching on

Tomorrow I host the second cafe for our organization. In the first cafe (back in August), the graphic recording really helped people 'see' what was emerging. I think it's such a valuable way to record the time spent in conversation...that's why this time we're using a real artist for graphic recording!

I'm also going to try the Cafe Cards posted on this site as a warm-up. I made 8.5 x 11 posters with the quotes about conversation and am going to post those around the room. When people walk in, I'm going to ask them to grab some coffee and snack and then take a walk around, read the quotes, and stand by the one that most speaks to them.

What I'm most excited about this week though, is that people are starting to talk about talk! There's been interest as some of the higher levels in the organization about hosting cafes! I think this idea is catching on!
