Hi all, I've just joined today and hope to meet you all. I'm just coming to grips with how this works. I have been reading up on "global sense making" and playing around with Compendium (a free online dialogue- mapping app.) , and can see the power of these new web-based collaborative approaches coming out to deal with complex problems. I would like to participate in a meeting or two before attempting to host one and would welcome an invitation from anyone : )

In particular I would like to talk about the group dynamics of this format, how to deal with behaviors which are counter-productive and people's blind-spots, with the aims of creating a shared understanding of TWC format, and developing skills to participate more effectively in the process.

Hi Jacqui and Susan, welcome aboard! Wow, we have 18 members now that's great, I didn't realise as I have been out of the loop a bit the last few weeks.

Jacqui, thanks for raising the question of face-to-face meetings or brainstorms, as of yet this hasn't happened but if there is energy within this group I would be happy to initiate a process. I've been a participant in some great tele-workshops and meetings recently using different kinds of online software and its been really interesting exploring the potential for participatory meeting techniques online. Thus far I've experienced an open space meeting online using OS realtime conference software (amazing!), a maestro tele-conference with break out groups, and a mentoring circle using Windows Live meeting and facilitated using whole person process.

If others are interested in exploring the idea of tele-learning workshop or similar let me know!

Happy New Year everybody!

Hi there,

I've been co/facilitating a while now and a couple of years ago got to be a participant for a change - in the world cafe process. I am looking forward to finding out what others are doing, their interests and perhaps ideas for working together using / developing this approach. Are there ever any brainstorms or face-to-face meetings? Look forward to getting more involved throughout 2010!
