Hi Geoff,

Hi Geoff,

Yes, I did know that simplified Chinese characters are used on the mainland, and traditional characters in Hong Kong and Taiwan - the book is translated into both. We had two different translation teams, and there were different communities welcoming and using the book in each case.

It was the publisher of the simplified character translation I met with in Bejing.

By the way, it's the book that was translated, not the website. That is only available in English at this point, and you can find it here. So glad you're here!

Welcome, Geof!

How wonderful that you've found us... I am really intrigued by your profile responses, and hope you find friends and good conversation here about the many important subjects you are obviously passionate about.

You may be interested to know that the World Cafe book has been translated into Chinese - both traditional and simple characters. I met with the publishers in Bejing of the simple character translation and they were very nice people.

Best,

Amy
