- I have experienced some bit of the World Cafe many years ago, but not recently. I have facilitated Bohmian-style dialogue circles, and experienced Open Space with Harrison Owen, appreciative inquiry, IONS connections, the SEED dialogues with Leroy Little Bear, etc. Now that I am retired I am looking for the "right" group for me to connect with, learn from, and contribute to.

Hi George!
Great, i bow in respect to your wide experience in this circles of social technologies and collective intelligence (if i may call them like this?). I wonder though, maybe is right groupS rather than one? anyway, i hope that this Online Community of Learning and Practice can be one of those that become meaningful and enjoyable for you, as this is what it's intended to be...
If you can take the time, it would be wonderful to read some more about you in our introduction-section, see it as an invitation :)
And then i was thinking George, i personally (as i am rather new to this whole field and extremely curious) would and surely other people might be interested in hearing your opinion on synergies and differences in this field of dialogue/listening/connecting to and with The World Cafe. If you don't have the book, you can find a "Café to go" pdf here. And then i could see it fitting in the Open Thread or as contribution to the research group... anyway, also an invitation :)
