I am very interested in exploring solutions to various sustainability issues: empathy, biosphere diversity, health, food, energy, urbanization, geo-engineering, equity, and technologies like genetics, nano, and robotics.

Bucky's best idea may be his simplest.  Starting with the gap at the Bering Strait, connect the globe with one single power grid.  Then, implement solar energy power generation around the world connecting everyone to this grid.  What you have is a carbon neutral power generation that can operate 24/7.

Buckminster Fuller was determined to improve the world.  I am convinced that we must save the world from destruction.  We will not make it through this century with business as usual.  There is an emerging genre of collaboration online.  TWC represents an example.  Humanity needs to improve to the next level.  I think of it as a problem of self-integration.  I want to prompt, nurture, and support changes that represent a collective improvement.
