Please indicate your World Café experience (ONLY IF YOU HAVE ACTUAL WORLD CAFE EXPERIENCE) in one or more of the following roles:
I'm New to the World Cafe
If you are new to the World Cafe, would you please share how you heard about this community?
I discovered World Cafe on a links page of one of the futurist organizations I have been recently researching.
What field is the primary focus of your World Café work (ONLY CHECK AREAS WHERE YOU ARE ALREADY ACTIVELY USING WORLD CAFE PLEASE)?
Health, Education, Online, Community
What knowledge, skills or resources would you like to contribute to the World Café community to help it grow and flourish?
I have been actively involved in community cultural development for 20 years, both live and virtual. I have an extensive background in multimedia communications and event production. My overall talents include the roles of futurist, artist, journalist, interviewer, researcher, producer, publisher, activist, community organizer, event designer, group facilitator, consultant, and speaker.

I have been an active supporter of a wide range of progressive and socially responsible initiatives. Working with internationally recognized authors such as flow psychology pioneer Mihaly Csikszentmihayli, cultural scholar D. Paul Schafer and integral theorist Ken Wilber, I designed and executed cutting-edge projects and programs such as Flow Network, Project Culturescape, Integral Arts Salons, and the Art Café Symposium. In the process, I have made presentations for groups and events such as the University of Advancing Computer Technology, Motorola, Aurora University, Nortel Palm Springs International Film Fest, World Future Society conference, Medicine Meets Virtual Reality conference, Illinois Inter-Agency Athletic Association, and New York Music & Internet Expo.

As the start of the new decade begins, I am excited to be launching The Future Lounge, a new online destination dedicated to the exploration of intelligent ideas and issues for open-minded people whose values and lifestyles are playing a critical role in shaping the present and future world. Catering to Cultural Creatives, innovators, trend setters, influencers and thought leaders of all kinds, The Future Lounge offers a friendly environment where new thinking is supported and the spiritual quest is valued; a relaxed meeting place from which to step back from the busy pace of our daily lives and take time to reflect on the perils and possibilities on the horizon and to address concerns and questions that will make or break the future of humanity.

As part of the equation, I offer pro bono speaking services to the non-profit world on a variety of futurist topics. In addition, I have packaged The Future Lounge as a live event experience providing adjunct programming and conceptual content for all kinds of confabs and festivals. This program incorporates The World Cafe ( and Future Salon ( models as well as inspiration from the Pecha Kucha process ( and the TED conferences (

Please feel free to contact me with any feedback, ideas or inquiries. I look forward to hearing from you!
What would you most like to receive from this community?
Through The Future Lounge I hope to inspire great conversations around questions that matter and I see the World Cafe method as a very powerful and enriching approach for doing this. By joining The World Cafe Community, I look forward to the chance to learn from others like myself, share experiences, grow in awareness and effectiveness and benefit from the inspiration, support, camaraderie, and networking opportunities.
Would you like to share a Web or Blog address?

I will better be able to answer this as I get more familiar with the community.
