If you are new to the World Cafe, would you please share how you heard about this community?

I have been involved with environmental issues for many years and have a site dedicated to my concerns for the planet and humankind.
A friend suggested I look here as some of the ideas on creating a worldwide community were interesting

What field is the primary focus of your World Café work (ONLY CHECK AREAS WHERE YOU ARE ALREADY ACTIVELY USING WORLD CAFE PLEASE)?

What knowledge, skills or resources would you like to contribute to the World Café community to help it grow and flourish?

I would like to express views on three things that all have a major impact on the course of event throughout the world.
One - people do not understand the need for public participation in politics
Two - people do not understand that the media is now the enemy of the people
Three - any country that still has a winner- takes- all electoral system (as a remnant of British colonization) does not have a true rpepresentative democray.

What would you most like to receive from this community?

Help in developing a worldwide community of people who understand the need to participate in politics for the common good of all.
