I'm New to the World Cafe
If you are new to the World Cafe, would you please share how you heard about this community?
Following some links to other links I stumbled on your site a few days ago while preparing for a staff meeting. I am the director of a pre-k-8 Montessori School and I had been asking "how can we learn to listen to each other, learn from each other and talk through our disagreements? Is a disagreement the beginning of the conversation, or the end of the conversation? As Montessorians and peace educators, how can we be the role models of community, synergy, collaboration for the children? In your book you said "we can live in whatever world we bring about in our conversations". I am thinking the recent inquiry and conversations about talking it through have brought about your world to me, and I am so grateful.
What field is the primary focus of your World Café work (ONLY CHECK AREAS WHERE YOU ARE ALREADY ACTIVELY USING WORLD CAFE PLEASE)?
Education
What knowledge, skills or resources would you like to contribute to the World Café community to help it grow and flourish?
enthusiasm for learning with and from each other
What would you most like to receive from this community?
the opportunity to learn from others how to build a culture of meaningful conversation, how to get out of the way to let that happen, conversational leadership, how to influence an environment so people want to participate in this way, how a group can gain the skills to have a conversation

Hello Fellow Arizonan, Hi Nirvair!

I would love to chat about your vision. How about a phone call (480.759.0262 office, 480.882.8281 cell) or a direct email exchange ([email protected] to discuss)?

Warm regards from a quick trip to Flagstaff, Christine

Hi Nirvair, welcome to this Online Community of Learning and Practice.

Brilliant, i love Montessori! My mom is at working in a Montessori school in south Germany :)

The search-function shows me two conversation-threads on this site that might be interesting in that context.

If you can take moment, it would be wonderful to learn more about you and your work in our introduction-section?

May this space serve you well Nirvair, please let me know if you have any questions,

Benjamin | Global Communications Team
