A Poem for a Way of Life

"Go placidly amid the noise and the haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence. As far as possible without surrender, be on good terms with all persons. Speak your truth quietly and clearly, and listen to others, even the dull and ignorant; they too have their story. Be yourself. Especially do not feign affection. Neither be cynical about love – for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment is it perennial as the grass. Take kindly the counsel of the years, gracefully…See More

Hi, Sharie,
I don't remember how I heard of World Cafe. It was quite a while back and when I first signed on it wasn't a question asked. Good deal on the MOJO - I think - I didn't live here until 2002. I went thru 7th grade in Seminole and moved around a lot after that - graduated in Pampa. Yea chorus - I was band. Nuff about your hubbie. Sounds like you have a fabulous job. With that smile I'm thinking you influence and inspire a lot of young people - so yea you !! Thanks for the shout. Sheila

And, if you want to find people in your area, you can do an advanced search with either your state or city put in there and it will pull up all members from that area and you can contact them directly.

With warm regards,
Juanita
