Dear Juanita

In the context of celebrating 20 years of World Cafe,  I would like to report that I have held my first ethics cafe with 20 young doctors yesterday.  From my point of view it was a success to the extent that it got me away from the traditional teaching as emobodied in a lecture.

Kind regards

Dear Juanita

Thanks for your welcome,  much appreciated.  All of this is a new experience for me!!  I hope that with the help of World Cafe my hope that clinical ethics will indeed become democratised to the extent that clinical ethics will indeed be everyone's business rather than being considered an abstruse,  complex set of ideas.

Kind regards

Alastair

Thank you so much, Juanita! How wonderful to hear from you! I think the work you (and many of us) are doing is getting more and more important! I look forward to hearing more! I'm moving into a cohousing here in Santa Cruz and I want us to be a leader in the community bringing people together to explore ideas of collaboration and inclusiveness and the world cafe approach is perfect. (www.walnutcommons.org) I've also done some work with David Shaw at his Common Ground Center at UCSC.

It wasn't a direct mention, I was reading an article which linked out to another and in that I found a link to the main site.  Kind of a long way around but that's how I found you guys ;)
