As co-founder of Conversation Cafe, I have been a long time supporter and friend of World Cafe and Juanita Brown. I love the process and have brought World Cafe to Nigeria and Ghana -- and soon to Liberia - as well as less exotic places like Swedish Medical Care in Seattle
What field is the primary focus of your World Café work (ONLY CHECK AREAS WHERE YOU ARE ALREADY ACTIVELY USING WORLD CAFE PLEASE)?

Whatever I can! Perhaps my cross cultural experience (I am a mediator and passionate peace maker). Also, the deep practice of compassionate listening.

World Cafe comes to Monrovia, LIBERIA (and Open Space) at a Community Meeting

Last Saturday my partners and I hosted over 120 community leaders at an Open Space Community Meeting here in Monrovia, Liberia.  My small non profit, Global Citizen Journey, in partnership with the Liberian organization, Population Caring Organization, are launching the Liberia Peacebuilder Initiative to help grow a network of leaders that cut across all of the many divides here:  traditional, Christian, Muslim; 16+ ethnic groups; men/women; youth/elders; educated/illiterate; ex-combatants;…
