If you are new to the World Cafe, would you please share how you heard about this community?

I was introduced to World Cafe by Sharon Joy Kleitsch, The Connection Partners. She has been an extraordinarily generous and insightful connector who has guided my path to World Cafe and other related organizations, authors, leaders who share a belief in systems thinking by including the masses in knowing of the whole through meaningful conversations leading to action.

What field is the primary focus of your World Café work (ONLY CHECK AREAS WHERE YOU ARE ALREADY ACTIVELY USING WORLD CAFE PLEASE)?

What knowledge, skills or resources would you like to contribute to the World Café community to help it grow and flourish?

First, my commitment to dialogue and opening up space for meaningful conversations. After a lengthy career in manufacturing and large multi-national, I have recognized the need to engage people at every level of an organization. I believe it important for us to leverage the world of business as a corporate citizen addressing social, environmental and other issues. My commitment is first to use World Cafe and Open Space (which I am passionate about) and share my experiences with others. By "just doing it" and "sharing", I believe it is how we will grow, flourish and sustain the work that we do that is so important.

What would you most like to receive from this community?

The knowledge that this much needed work is continuing. As I am just joining now, I do not have any real needs except a deep feeling that somehow people in this community are and have been doing important work.
