"Hi, LaVonna. i'm sure John will have great input. In the meantime, the cost of a cafe should be nominal in every event! Often there are organizations with facilities they would be willing to donate for the venue, such as the public library or…"

"Hi, Chris - I saw your profile on LinkedIn. Implementing six sigma at Boeing must be a lot of fun. I lived in Seattle until 1988. Thanks for inviting me to your community. Can't wait to hear how Pegasus goes this year. Teresa"

Profile Information

Please indicate your World Café experience (ONLY IF YOU HAVE ACTUAL WORLD CAFE EXPERIENCE) in one or more of the following roles:
Host, Visual Recorder, Participant
If you are new to the World Cafe, would you please share how you heard about this community?
I was first introduced to World Cafe process at a conference of utility managers. Susan Kelly mapped a conversation about the future of customer service. The result was inspiring.
What field is the primary focus of your World Café work (ONLY CHECK AREAS WHERE YOU ARE ALREADY ACTIVELY USING WORLD CAFE PLEASE)?
Health, Education, Corporate, Government, Community
What knowledge, skills or resources would you like to contribute to the World Café community to help it grow and flourish?
Having worked in corporations most of my life, my business background follows me into the World Cafe process. I have a studied ear for meaning that underlies words - I try to draw that deeper meaning out of the conversation and onto the canvas.
What would you most like to receive from this community?
When people are doing good work that moves people forward with positive outcomes, I want to hear about it - that inspires me.
Would you like to share a Web or Blog address?
http://www.ConceptsCaptured.com
What haven't we asked that you'd like to share?
I heard someone say recently that people need a "shared social object" in order to connect with others. I'm leaning toward visual metaphors in the form of graphic recording as a way for people to start conversations that really can matter.
