Hosting Conversations about Questions that Matter
Hello! Trying to find health insurance internationally is quite difficult. The health savings account with high deductible health insurance is the US model of health insurance that I use, and what I'd like to try and find outside the US. I'm looking at temporary work (1 yr) in Sao Paulo, Brazil, but I'm not sure if it would be better to get coverage there. I know visas, etc are an issue, but there has to be companies that work with that.
I know the US health care industry is not the best model out there, so I'm especially interested in international options. Does anyone have stories of trying this?

- well, i'm a pretty intense backpacker and rock climber, so its probably a good idea! ; ) I should probably have stuck with my first love of golf - - where the only thing to worry about is Bill Murray and his gopher-hunting antics!

I lived in Sao Paulo and can check some options for you here. As I worked for banks and some Insurance companies as a consultant maybe I will be able to help you search for alternatives.
In this sense could you tell me what kind of coverture and/or health plan are you looking for?
