At this time I was a basic net-worker, studying and involving myself as much as I could in my community. I would have enjoyed being involved and only discovered world cafe through my university studies. Bundaberg has been through so much and is getting a face lift around town, but this has not extended to homeless people. For whatever reason, there are people who have no fixed address, living from hand to mouth, some with children and others on their own. What is the problem with cheap affordable housing? Other countries are doing it, we have had so much destruction, but I am of the feeling that we need to fix what is actually broken before we build what is not essential...
