Who has worked with World Café to really create more equal opportunity in organizations?
I am currently involved with a group of women who are trying to "break the glass ceiling" in their international corporation.
We are organizing a gathering where men who want to contribute will also be invited.
Yet we are not yet hearing what meaningful question need to be explored
I'd love to hear from others on that theme
Hi Pierre!
I'm wondering if beginning with storytelling instead of focusing onproblems or dilemmas choose to focus questions with appreciative inquiry kinds of questions where women have actually been successful with breaking the glass cieling-- and what were the conditions that allowed that to happpen--to see what can be learned about what works as well as what does not.
Just a quick thought--and I'll give it some more when I have a few more minutes.
Hello Pierre,
I love this kind of issue/problem/opportunity! And I know it is not an easy one.
Yeah, what is the real question here? Many times both women and men are blind to what is causing this kind of glass ceiling, because it is about culture and how we are so used to it that we don't see/sense/know that it has more masculine energy than feminine. The balance is not in the middle. (to put it very simple)
If this feels right I would love to have a sensing call with these women - or with you - about what is there on a deeper level...
