Harvesting a World Cafe - shopping for ideas.

So I finally have the opportunity to host a World Cafe. The question is around developing a community of practice in a professional services firm- what does a community of practice look like? 40 participants- 2 hours. My query is about ways to harvest and present the collective wisdom of the participants. I was thinking that after three rounds of sharing, participants would return to the table from which they had launched on their voyage of inquiry. There they would craft, with the host, a…See More

Thanx for the comment and accepting the invite to share ideas along the way. The Spiritual Journey idea I was referring to, was first introduced to me by Wayne Dyer in one of his audio programs. I found it inspirational in overcoming the little cracks in the fingernail of life seeing a bigger picture (or trying to see more of it) overshadowing all of the daily grinds which can tear the human living a human experience rather than a spiritual experience.....
You mention books and CBC radio, and you are right that while there are possibly no new basics, it is about becoming a student and being open to the powers that we can only start to think about understanding..... one of the books that has captured my interest in the last months is titled "Sacred Contracts" by Carolyn Myss. http://www.myss.com/library/contracts/ In my opinion it covers a wide aspect of the spiritual experience and brings it all together nicely. Thought I would mention it.

Cheers and have a great week
